What I Worry About

Furtive glances;

Still no wi-fi.

Previous posts say

“1d, 2d, 3d, 3d, 5d…”

I hope four days ago

My scheduled poem posted.

Then I wonder:

Am I the only one who cares?

Then my little voice answers:

“Yes.”

Thanks little voice.

Giver and Reciever

Bouquet of flowers

Delivered to me.

No name on the card,

And no giver I see.

I’m but an inpatient

At the amnesiac’s ward.

Sending stuff to myself

Is it’s own reward.

I’m An Outdoorsy Type

Sitting in the park

Amidst green and verdant trees

Checking my Facebook.

From The Assistant Captain

I’m very proud if my teammate, Ted

Who always… ALWAYS… Gets out of bed.

You really proud of my teammate, Ben,

Who almosy always gets a few out of ten.

I’m really proud of my teammate Jon,

Who really has improved a ton.

But I’m noy proud of my teammate Rick.

Our MVP… What a dick!

The Jigsaw Puzzle

We found the corners.

We built the edge.

We stuck some ins to some outs,

Then we jumped off a ledge.

Prelude to a Full-Body Cast

There once was a girl that I knew

That I really wanted to do.

She said “I’m with someone.”

Of the guy, I made fun.

I didn’t know that guy was you.

As Seen On Youtube

Have you ever been walking,

Not thinking at all,

When you look up

And in love you fall?

I almost did

At 10:30 today,

Except that stupid pole

Got in the way.

You Were Worried For A Second, Right?

My campsite was dull,

Overcome by a lull.

It lacked a certain flair,

So I talked to my wife

And got out my knife…

And carved a wooden bear.

Sir Lance-when-he-feels-like-it.

When I was a wee squire

I smelt dragon fire

Beneath the stables of the castle.

I considered heroics,

But chose not to show it.

It was simply too much of a hastle.
