About the Poet

Hello world!  My name is David Kappele.

I have always hated poetry, so

As I am the sort that thinks oddly, well,

I decided to make a blog of po…

…ems. As you have noticed they are quite bad.

Poetry has never been my strong suit.

I am, however, a good mus’cal lad,

And an improv comedian to boot!

This sonnet is intended to tell you

About this man who write these travesties,

As well as to  entertain, this is true.

Hopefully your laughter grants amnesties.

And so, dear reader, that is who I am.

Iambic pentameter.  Fun, eh? Damn (right it is)!
