Thus Spake The Lord

So God was like “I made animals

“And they’re useful and delicious

“But you chose to eat an apple

“And so, to be malicious,

“I’ll make your parents teach you

“That vegetables are good

“And also make steak cost way more

“Than such meat ever should.”

Fissions of the Past

I’ve been thinking about Eden,
About Adam and his rib
And pond’ring how to make it
Poetical and glib.

And I realized the Bible
Could be scientifically read
If you thought of Eve’s creation
As splitting the Adam instead.

Serpentjobs.com

You can’t get a job in gardening
If you are a snake.
Something about job history
And some Eve girl’s big mistake.

But I won’t let this prejudice
Go to my pointy head.
I’ll get a job in marketing
Or politics instead.
