People Who Don’t Know What “Masticating” Means Are Going To Think This Poem Is Weirder Than It Actually Is

My hands are very cold

As I stand outside at night

Typing in this crummy poem

Because I just have too, all right?

Earlier I was occupied

With eating what I was masticating

But as I suffer in the moment

I regret procrastinating.

Chocolate and Jewelry: Done

‘Twas two days before Christmas

And off at the mall

Were all of the husbands

Who dropped the gift ball.

The Benefits of Procrastination

If I don’t do it in the morning

And don’t do it at lunch

I have to do it at 2:48

While sipping on some punch.

As I write down this plan of mine

It doesn’t seem so bad.

If I write tommorrow at 9:00 PM

I don’t think I’ll be sad.
