2020 Voters (And Europe)

I went to college and got a degree

And hoped it would get me a job.

I learned how to drink, put off work and have threesomes,

And be both a loser and snob.

I can write ten page papers with ten words of content

And get booze with no valid ID.

Now I’m an unemployed expert in horticultural psychology

And I think you deserve this for free.

Four European Jokes

If you think you’re very nice

I’ll leave you this reminder:

No matter how kind you happen to be

German children will always be kinder.

——————————————————–

If you read the first jokes

And your focus yet lingers

How ’bout the Roman

Who held up two fingers

And said to the bartender

“Howdy there Clive!”

Clive asked “Two beers?”

But the Roman said “Five.”

——————————————————–

When France declared a civil war

At first we wondered “But what for?”

But thanks to the historically well-versed

We learned it was an argument about who surrendered first.

——————————————————–

Spain.

I Stole These Jokes And Made Them Rhyme… You’re Welcome

A Mexican magician

Was the epitome of grace.

He would count “uno, dos,”

Then disappear without a tres.

He did this trick in Europe.

When he reappeared he said “mama mia!”

Then he asked “can you see me now?”

And the crowd said: “Yes, oui, si, ja.”

Beavers Aren’t The Only Ones

Let me tell you

Of my beautiful dream

Were all types of rodents

Can block off a stream.

Where pets leave their cages

And go on the lam

To this new river city

We call Hamsterdam.

European Medicine

Do you have

A song in your head

That makes you wish

That you were dead.

I’ve got medicine

To make that song come unfurled.

“It’s The Final Countdown.”

You’re welcome,

-The World
