Just because his name is Curtis
Doesn’t mean that he is curt.
Just because her name is Cindy
Doesn’t mean that she’s a sinner.
Just because my name is Dick
Doesn’t mean I feelings hurt.
Now where, my wifey dearest,
Is my mother****ing dinner?
Just because his name is Curtis
Doesn’t mean that he is curt.
Just because her name is Cindy
Doesn’t mean that she’s a sinner.
Just because my name is Dick
Doesn’t mean I feelings hurt.
Now where, my wifey dearest,
Is my mother****ing dinner?

Plenty of folks can come up with jokes,
But fewer deliver them well,
Many a person can think up a product,
But few of those products can sell,
A whole host can fail at many endeavors
But few of them fail with grace,
And prisons are full of a criminal plenty
But most of them share the same race.

I think the worst injustice
That we tolerate these days
Is how we abuse the roads
In a variety of ways.
We hit the road so often,
Pound the pavement, and it’s clear
That the roads get walked all over
And quitting time is near.
We’d never stab our children,
But we stick forks in the road
Then expect it to hold on
While it carries our giant load.
It’s time to give the streets a break…
Oops! I mean let them rest!
Anyway, quit using roads
Because that’s for the best.

Deep in the woods by a little green lake
Lived a man who had never been sad.
His life was just joy from the start to today,
Never once punctuated by bad.
He called the birds and the frogs company
And sang to the wood he would stack…
But all of that changed when he saw CNN
And learned what it meant to be black:
He learned that despite being happy and free
His life was defined by oppression
And how being equal to everyone else
Was the only worthwhile obsession.
He was overwhelmed, shocked even, until
He heard an inspiring call:
He realized he hadn’t voted for Biden
And thus wasn’t black after all!

They made the Joker movie
Where the villain was relatable.
Then they made “Cruella”
And made killing dogs debatable.
And I know that coming soon
To theaters near me
Is a film called “Adolf:
“A young art student’s story.”
He was black, surrounded by brothers,
Unarmed and defenseless
When a white man came by
To perform something senseless:
The poor black was gutted
And served on a platter
With mediterranean food.

When I said “I like my coffee
“Like my women: Sweet and black.”
My coworker decided
That was a personal attack.
She called the supervisor
Just to say she was offended
And just like that I found I was,
Like Epstein’s neck, suspended.
But now my luck has turned around
And I see that I’m blessed.
I can’t be an oppressor
If I am, in fact, oppressed.

If we didn’t announce hurricanes
Just for a year or two
No one would die in a hurricane again.
Also, I’m fine. How ‘bout you?

At 10:22 in the morning
I think of naught but bliss,
But at 10:22 PM
I think of stuff like this:
If the number of pedophiles goes up
And so do most kids’ weight
I wonder why we haven’t seen
More strong people of late?

Timmy and Betty drew pictures
And Timmy got an A
But teacher said to Betty
“Your picture’s not ok.”
Both drew their self portraits
But one was not alright;
Timmy used a black marker
But Betty’s pen was white.
